Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using REBriefs ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

REBriefs is a real estate intelligence dashboard that aggregates news, displays macro economic indicators, and provides analytical tools for real estate professionals.

Use of Third-Party Data

Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED®)

This product uses the FRED® API but is not endorsed or certified by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.

By using REBriefs, you agree to comply with the FRED® API Terms of Use.

Specifically, you agree that:

• FRED data shown is for informational purposes only
• Data may be delayed and should not be used as the sole basis for trading or investment decisions
• FRED® is a registered trademark of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis
• The Service does not replicate or attempt to replace the FRED website experience

RSS Feed Aggregation

REBriefs aggregates publicly available RSS feeds from various real estate news sources. We do not claim ownership of this content. All content belongs to its respective publishers.

User Accounts

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activity under your account

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use automated tools to scrape or download data en masse
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Resell or redistribute Service data without permission
• Use the Service to spam or harass others

Export Compliance

By using REBriefs, you represent and warrant that you:

• Are not located in a country subject to U.S. embargo
• Are not listed on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties
• Will comply with all applicable export control laws and regulations
• Will comply with OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) regulations

This requirement is mandated by the FRED® API Terms of Use and applies to all users of REBriefs.

Calculator Tools

REBriefs provides financial calculators for real estate analysis, including but not limited to: Cap Rate, NOI, Mortgage, Cash-on-Cash, DSCR, IRR, NPV, Waterfall distributions, and Value-Add calculations.

No Fiduciary Relationship

REBriefs is NOT a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, CPA, attorney, or financial planner. Use of these calculators does NOT create any fiduciary, advisory, or professional relationship between you and REBriefs.

Calculator Disclaimers

By using our calculator tools, you acknowledge and agree that:

• All calculator results are estimates only and are provided for educational and informational purposes
• Results are hypothetical and may not reflect actual market conditions or outcomes

Mutual Waiver of Claims

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE, AND FOREVER DISCHARGE REBRIEFS, INC., ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, AND SUCCESSORS FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS, ACTIONS, CAUSES OF ACTION, DAMAGES, LOSSES, COSTS, EXPENSES, AND LIABILITY OF ANY KIND ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE CALCULATOR TOOLS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Investment losses or missed opportunities
• Decisions made based on calculator results
• Errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in calculations
• Reliance on calculator outputs without independent verification
• Any form of special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages

• Damages exceeding the amount you paid us in the past 12 months

Indemnification

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any decisions made based on data from the Service

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding third-party data and user content) are owned by REBriefs and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

Third-party trademarks mentioned (including FRED®) belong to their respective owners.

Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue the Service at any time
• Change pricing or features
• Update these Terms

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access immediately, without prior notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Illegal or fraudulent activity
• Extended inactivity
• Any reason at our sole discretion

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States and the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and REBriefs concerning the Service.
